Thank you Dustin.I do agree that this is going to be more a learn as you go thing.

I admire that you are writing non-Medium articles as well as finding time to write on Medium almost everyday. You are very productive and I am sure you will soon be breaking the $100 and more barrier.

I have also noticed a massive drop in views and earnings. I haven't published anything in a week and I am now barely making a few cents a day from making $1 -$2 a day when I was publishing almost everyday.

Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to publish or write on Medium for the next 2 weeks due to some personal work and I guess when I get back to writing, I will be starting back at zero again which annoys me but life gets in the way.

I also got top writer in Reading from publishing in Books are Our Superpower. I only submitted 4 articles there last month but they were all distributed. The owner/ editor is really a go-getter and I am amazed at how well she is doing in a few months but I also think she works extremely hard and doesn't give up.

My thoughts on the publication X that I talked about last are much like yours. Sometimes, I am almost tempted to publish there but I have decided that I am going to not go there unless I have a piece that I absolutely need to have published quickly.

As for science articles, I would love to write more science articles, but I haven't found a good publisher for science related stuff. If you know of any, please let me know. Just not publication X. I will aim for higher from now on.

Well, I will probably be back to writing and publishing again in 2 weeks. In the meantime, I will keep reading and commenting on everyones work.

Thank you for your advice.

I enjoy writing about everything under the sun. However, as a fan of murder mysteries, I find that I have a special interest in true crime.
